The Trail will remain a 5 day walk with options to walk fewer days for those who are time poor. While there was enormous fire damage to the Flinders Chase National Park and therefore the Kangaroo Island Wilderness Trail, the regrowth is sensational. The Trail is now extremely scenic with views never seen before.

Stayed here fir 3 nights. Great assortment of wildlife, koalas in nearby trees and small wallabies around the park. There is a nice walk around a lagoon not far from the site, we saw larger Roos and wild geese and a nice view of neighbouring field. I love the recycled tank used for the laundry. I would’ve liked the shop to stay open an hour later as there really isn’t much else in the area and it is a long drive out once you’ve done everything on that part of the island. We will be back to kangaroo island and next time we will stay in each main quarter so we aren’t driving so much. We left

Poor customer service can be improve with the 2 hosts (Mark ,Fiona) retiring. I have no idea why they are in this job when they hate their guests. I booked the Ti Tree Luxury Cabin. Cabin not so luxury when it was ruined by being awoken by clanging beer bottles and aluminium cans while the host sorted out 10c recycle container next to the cabin (looked like good money despite disturbing guests). It was adjacent the reception office where the hosts glares at you and could not even break a smile unless you were white. I wouldn't come back again. Could not wait to leave and enjoy the rest of Kangaroo

Great caravan park, really good facilities, especially the kitchen with good appliances and utensils. The staff at the park were very helpful and friendly. It is easy to spot kangaroos, wallabies, koalas and many birds.
More signs regarding rubbish will be good, people were mixing the rubbish. Also some signs for people to clean the kitchen after using it will be good.

I've stayed here numerous times and it's always been awesome. If you're wanting to explore the western end of the island, this is the perfect place to base yourselves and Mark & Fiona are the ultimate hosts. I stay in their cabins and since the fires, their facilities are being rebuilt better than ever. This really is an epic place to stay when you're on the island.

Park facilities were ultramodern and well maintained. It is also well signposted and comes with a general store where you can buy some essentials. Flinders Chase entrance is only about 10 minutes away. You can also visit Kelly's Cave, Little Sahara, Seal Bay and Cape Boda from this site. Not forgetting the short nature trail within the park where you can see plenty of wildlife such as koala's

Great caravan park with new facilities and amenities. We camped in the park. The camp kitchen was amazing and had everything you would need - the best I’ve seen. We loved the location and remoteness. Lots of wildlife in caravan park - koalas with babies, kangaroos, wallabies. The owners very lovely. Highly recommend!

Great caravan park, reasonably priced, close to the national park and surrounded by gumtrees. Heaps of wildlife, worth having a walk around in the evening or at night to spot koalas and tamar wallabies. Camp kitchen is brand new and huge, amenities are good. Loved our stay there, probably the best caravan park on the island
