Prior to your initial consultation you will be emailed a pre-consultation questionnaire to complete. This gives me time to do a lot of the assessment component before the initial consultation. I will connect with you face-to-face via video link. The aim of the initial consultation is to get to know you and conduct a thorough nutrition assessment of you as an individual so that all advice and action plans can be personalised to your unique needs.

Based on the assessment, I will work with you to develop a personalised dietary plan. You will be sent the dietary plan along with any other relevant resources or monitoring tools such as food diary and measurement recording sheet. Dietitian & Nutritionist, Jorja Barnes, provides expert dietary advice and medical nutrition therapy for a wide range of health conditions and nutrition-related issues including but not limited to.

My interest in food and nutrition was sparked while representing Australia in water polo as a junior athlete and realising the profound link between food and sporting performance. My focus since shifted towards my career in nutrition & dietetics where I have now found my niche helping clients to achieve their personal goals with food.
