Natalie's favourite part about Hairdressing is being able to spend every day with her beautiful Hair By I family who she feels makes coming to work so much fun. Her favourite service is presicion cutting, great lengths hair extensions and all colour transformations.
Hair By I is nestled away in Doreen, Victoria. Our salon is luxuriously appointed, designed to make you feel like our special guest as soon as you walk in the door, with also salons offering professional and high end hairdressing services. Hair By I offers a warm, friendly atmosphere for our client's comfort, using only the highest quality products and providing a high value experience.
You may be surprised to learn that the salon industry sends more than 1,500 tons of recyclable aluminium back to landfill each year in Australia and New Zealand alone. That's one and a half million kilos, about 715 cars, or four jumbo jets! Unfortunately aluminium doesn't degrade easily, it actually contaminates the soil for 500 years.

Our price structure reflects the educational level and practical experience of our stylists. Whilst all care is taken, Hair By I accepts no responsibility for damage incurred to garments/personal items whilst in-salon.

It was my first time getting my hair coloured. I had showed a photo to Emma and we agreed on doing balayage and colouring my hair roots to dark brown like my natural colour to cover some grey hairs that way I wouldn’t have to damage my hair. Emma coloured my hair roots to black which I got so upset about as I would not be able to go a lighter colour unless I bleach it which would damage my hair. I ended up having really dark hair with a full set of foils ( which I did not ask for). The foils were not even coloured properly as I had some dark brown, light and even orange foils.

I booked an appointment for permanent hair straightening over the phone they booked me and asked for $50 deposit which I did and I payed rest $200 in Salon and they cheated me by doing keratine treatment and when I found and informed them, they said they do not do permanent or chemical straightening in their Salon and in return just blamed me for mis communication and never admitted that their hair dresser Kiara cheated me. When asked for refund they just said NO, such is their customer service.
Its so hard for some people to admit their mistake.
Please be careful of these traps.

I am so chuffed with how Nikki did my hair! It had been a while since I’d last had my hair done because of lockdown and Nikki did such a great job of refreshing my blonde and making me feel so light and bright again! I also spontaneously wanted to try some light pink in the ends of my hair but was a bit hesitant. Nikki talked me through the process and the colours and went really light with the pink for my first time. Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely be booking in with Nikki again! :)

I was really impressed with the job done on my hair, it looks amazing!
I was quite disappointed at the final bill, given I had booked online and paid what I was told was a 50% deposit only to then pay almost double that as the balance. Clients should be made aware beforehand if the cost is going to be so different to what is quoted.

I booked my first appointment at Hair By I salon with Brittney about a month ago. She was so lovely, full of knowledge and very professional. The salon have amazing prdoucts like kerastase. The staff have expert prodcut knowledge. I booked myself in for an initial consultation, wash, trim and dry. My hair still feels amazing. Thank you!
