The aim of Wind In The Willows Child Care Centre is to offer a service that encourages autonomy in a nurturing, relaxed family atmosphere. The children's learning is initiated through interest-based activities inspiring curiosity and investigations. Here you will find an enthusiastic team of long-standing committed educators that ensure that the educational environment for children of age 6 months to 5 years is both stimulating and challenging.

Classes include Nursery, toddler, preschool, school readiness programs. We recognise that each child has unique talents, learning styles and personalities. Our highly-qualified teachers and staff are committed to working within each child's comfort in their development stages to ensure optimal social, emotional and educational development.
Services
The Wind in the Willows Child Care aims to provide a broad range of child-initiated play, intentional teaching from highly educated practitioners and firm interactions from our families and the community, which assist the social and, emotional, creative and physical development of children while maintaining a home-like an environment.
Our Nursery room accommodates children between the ages of 6 weeks to 2 years old. This age group is called the "Puggles", which aims to develop trusting, supportive relationships with children and families. We have created a happy and safe environment for children aiding in the development of their cognitive, social and gross/fine motor skills.
All fees for Occasional must be paid on the Childs first day of care for that week for the entire sessions required for that week. We need 24 hrs to notice in writing to cancel care. If you have already paid for the care, it will be put into credit for the next time you need care. A non-refundable enrolment fee of $35 is to be paid on the day of registration this is required for all families including occasional care families.
We recognise parents as the primary educators and caregivers of their children. Our teachers encourage parents to spend time in the centre to maintain positive relationships and open communicating channels to ensure that children's needs are met. We aim to work in partnership with our care. These partnerships are characterised by warmth, respect, and positive, friendly interactions.
Once you have obtained a place here with us at the Willows, you will be contacted either via email or telephone to discuss your enrolment. As per the contact details you supplied on your waiting list application. You will then given an enrolment form to fill out which outlines all of your families needs and your child's needs.
