Buderim Medical Centre
We operate by an appointment system. Urgent cases are always accommodated. A routine consultation is 10-15 minutes. A first visit may take longer. If you feel you require a longer consultation time, please advise reception when making your appointment. Should more than one family member need to be seen, please make an appointment for each person.

Last minute requests to see siblings or friends will result in delays for all subsequent appointments that day. Repeats of regular prescriptions require a brief consultation, which will be fitted in between normal appointments. These will be bulked billed and no appointment is necessary. If a third party collects the script, we are unable to bill Medicare and a $10 fee will apply.
Services
Our aim is to provide the highest standard of community medical care, with our highly qualified, compasionate, friendly and caring doctors, nurses and receptionist staff. Originally from Hong Kong, Simon has been in Australia since 1989, having qualified at St Bartholomew's Hospital in London. He moved his practice to Buderim from Beerwah in 2001 and has enjoyed being been part of the community ever since.

Dr penny Jefferson likes to write letters of completely false allegations claiming I'm an abusive father, I recorded my phone call on the instance that penny claims I was abusive, I rang their practice wanting to speak with penny and recieved no return call...I spoke to her secretary explaining that I had the evidence to disprove these allegations as lies, as a result of her poor judgement I didn't get to see my daughter that weekend due to her lack of care and incompetence...

Appalling rude demeanor of the attendant at the desk. Do not go here if you can help it.

Our family recently relocated to Buderim from overseas. What extraordinary good luck to have found Dr Roger Faint.
All three members of our family attend his practice. Dr. Faint is a world-class professional with a broad range of specialties. You'd be hard put to find a more attentive, responsive and caring physician.

Simon & Penny...these two doctors are very thorough. They are considerate and always take their time with me or my abundance of children I'm always taking in to the surgery! Thank you to all the staff here.

Called this morning, to find an appointment for my partner, all other GPs were full local to us. I FIFO and have to leave home in 2hours, we have a young baby, who I can look after while my partner is seen. Explained the situation and was told 'we don't take on new patients'. Such poor form from our 'community health system'. Disgusting

Our experience with doctor Simon was negative, he doesn't listen to his patients, doesn't take his patients' health concerns seriously.

Receptionist was rude. I feel like in the medical profession you need to be sympathetic. You have no idea what someone may be going through and to be welcomed with that response is just plain rude. If it's too much hassle to be polite- the medical profession is not for you!
