Dr Vrtik was asked to comment on the emerging trend amongst Hollywood casting directors for movie extras to have real breasts as opposed to fake breasts. Dr Vrtik was asked to comment on the reasons that women have breast reductions and trends in surgery.
Many scars that appear large and unattractive at first may become less noticeable with time. Some can be treated with steroids to relieve symptoms such as tenderness and itching. For these reasons, many plastic surgeons recommend waiting as long as a year or more after an injury or surgery before you decide to have scar revision.

Dupuytren's contracture is a disorder of the skin and underlying tissue on the palm side of the hand. Thick, scar-like tissue forms under the skin of the palm and may extend into the fingers, pulling them toward the palm and restricting motion. The condition usually develops in mid-life and has no known cause (though it has a tendency to run in families).

I can't speak for Dr Vrtik herself as I never got to the point of having a consultation, but the receptionist was incredibly rude and patronising, wouldn't let me make an appointment without emailing her my referral. I didn't bother mentioning that they already had my referral and had called me previously about making an appointment because her attitude had already convinced me to ask my doctor to refer me to someone else.

I was a patient here and was treated appallingly by a receptionist/nurse. Reading the other reviews it appears I am not alone. I would strongly advise that you avoid using this clinic if at all possible. I also had failed stitches, i chose to go elsewhere because of the disgraceful way that I was spoken to by one staff member.

Absolutely amazing and highly recommended. She has an amazing bedside manner, her work is unbelievable. Lily performed multiple surgeries on my grandfather, most of significant size, and I can honestly say after the usual healing, the scars were completely unnoticeable. I had an SCC removed from the bridge of my nose. You can not see the scar what so ever. Her staff are just as lovely Jan, Marnie and Carrie all such lovely girls.
