Services
Nestled into the island's landscape, these Queenslander-style rooms are peaceful and private - linked by walkways that meander through World Heritage-listed surrounds while still just a short stroll to the Centre Complex. These spacious and comfortable rooms are the perfect escape from the everyday - immerse yourself in nature and retreat from the noise of the busy world with an island escape.
Nestled into the island's landscape, these Queenslander-style rooms sit lightly on the land - allowing island wildlife to go about their daily business uninterrupted. Oftentimes you might see squirrel gliders swing off the balconies, have our birdlife flutter by or hear the rustle as an echidna or goanna goes about their daily business below you - it's the ultimate immersive island experience.
Wake up to the birdsong, from the comfort of a king-size bed while you take in the view from your private balcony. Complete with sun lounges, a king-size bed, 50 inch flat-screen TV and stylish furnishings, the resort King Resort Hotel Rooms are perfect for couples looking to kick back and relax after a day of exploring Fraser Island.
Our one bedroom loft style villas are surrounded by native bushland with easy access to resort facilities. They're great for couples that want that extra space and privacy that comes with being nestled in the treetops or for families with young adventurers who can navigate to the loft twin bedroom (the loft bedroom is recommended for children from 9-14 years that can safely negotiate a steep loft staircase).
Triple the Fraser fun with a three-bedroom Pandanus Villa in the treetops. What better way to end a hard day's exploring, than with all the creature comforts including private deck and two spacious double rooms. Keep your eyes peeled as daylight fades on another Fraser day, as local wildlife comes out to play, or guess, what colour the sunset will be from the comfort of your deck.

Kingfisher Bay resort, a beautiful place to visit for a day and laze around the pool. Or if you're feeling more energetic, there are a lot of trails to explore, or hop on the tour bus to see it all. Great activities for the whole family. Got more time to spare? Why not stay for a couple of days. Go fishing, or canoeing, there's something for everyone.

Was expecting high quality hotel and service and it wasn’t really there for how much you pay for a room!! Only 2 ‘restaurants’ are open due too ‘refurbishment’ but it’s really because they don’t have enough staff ( they are truly doing their best though) and the staff they do have are all new and really haven’t got any guidance from the managers. Very limited menus so if your staying there more than three days I would suggest buying food before you go on the island.
Very over priced for what you get in the sand and wood bar but I have to say the Korean chicken as a snack is bloody

We check out in the morning after a 4 night stay. As a family of 6 (4 kids 5-10yrs old) we had a Villa with two normal rooms and a 3rd room in the loft. It’s a great layout and well spread out. While not luxury it’s ideal for most families. As we ate at the resort every night we did find the options limited. Seabelle Restaurant appears to have been closed for a year with no opening date in sight. There are no renovations currently underway. The Sandbar is really a freezer to fryer type quick snack venue, leaving Sand & Wood as the only real option. It’s safe to say we know the menu well having

Our party of 23 (including children) took the Fraser Island Tour. Pick up from our accommodation was on time and this is where we met Martin our Tour Guide/Driver extraordinaire.Right from the get go he had all of us completely interested. On the Island our itinerary was clearly outlined and agreed with the group. All points of interest were covered and throughout we were entertained by his knowledgeable commentary. He was completely in tune with our group's requirements and an added bonus was his sense of humour. We recommend him highly.

I had low expectations, but the resort was nicer than I thought. It is starting to get a bit dated. I did love the photos of K’Gari in the rooms by the local photographer.
The resort is ideal for families, so don’t expect any quiet time by the pool.
It would be good if they somehow kept the bottom pool for adults only or something.
Also, it would be good if there was security or something to stop the drunks screaming outside our room on the weekend.

Drove over from Eurong to have dinner whilst on the island. The food at the restaurant was great and quick service. Location of the restaurant is right near the pier so watching the sunset over the water was a great change.
The drive back across the island in the dark was amazing seeing many different animals and scenery. Well worth it.
