Terrible customer service, angry and rude hotel owner. I booked a room and restrictions hit 2 days after - hotel declined refund. All other hotels (even with nonrefundable bookings) always refunded due to Covid. Although I booked non-refundable room (did not realise), did not expect that hotel will be so uncooperative...Hotel owner was very rude on the phone. If you are trying to book something with even slightest chance of plan change, I would recommend to book with other hotels that take 'force majore' cases such as Covid into consideration.

We absolutely love the Auldington, would highly recommend staying here. James and the staff are all so friendly, decent, helpful and professional. What a gorgeous old building with a warm, comfortable and welcome feeling to it. The rooms are clean and spacious. Great location to top it off, such a handy location. I would rate the Auldington 10 out of 10. Thank you James and crew. 🤗🤗🤗. Yvonne and Mark King.

Easy and quick check in and check out, staff were all lovely. Great place to stay if you want somewhere in the CBD area and central, but also want to avoid the noise and ruckus of a loud CBD hotel. Still central, and the staff make an effort to keep noise to a minimum. Our room was very clean, and they have a nice deck area with tables and a comfortable sitting room and beautiful garden.

This hotel is supposed to be 4.5 to 5 star, but I personally don’t think so, maybe 3 star. The rooms are ok, nothing special, but views are delightful as is the garden outside, Ben the receptionist on duty is a lovely young man and gave us a bit of history about this hotel in its past life as a convent. The balcony outside our room was dirty with an over flowing ash tray, cobwebs and hadn’t been swept for a long time, this place doesn’t feel loved, I was disappointed as I thought being a 4.5-5 star it would be better.
