Publik Salon is unlike any other Hairdressers in Gold Coast. Publik is a private studio establishment, where our approach is more authentic and personalised. It was important for us to create an environment that is non-invasive and all about you. Our guests receive a one-on-one approach, to ensure that you can relax without the distraction within your everyday salons.
Our focus is working with hair in its organic form to create hairstyles that are tailored completely to the individual. Looks that you, the client can re-create, everyday. After training and working with the biggest names in the business, like Vidal Sassoon and Toni & Guy, we've created a collaborative space that is a world away from the distractions of a usual salon.

A passion for education, creativity, and our Planet has defined Nichola's 27-year career and unique approach to hairdressing. Toni & Guy salon academy, head up Toni & Guy staff training for cutting and eventually on to co-own Toni & Guy North Sydney.
Nichola has also spent the last 8 years as the Australasian Education Manager for Organic Colour Systems, educating other likeminded hairdressers around Australia and New Zealand, a role which has also taken her to Asia, the U.K and the USA.A creative soul, Nichola is a photographer, she sews, paints and draws, loves crochet and embroidery - and her caring and generous spirit is reflected in Publik's eco and community-minded initiatives.

Today was my first time at Publik and had I not just been so busy absolutely raving to all my friends about how incredible Jon and Nicola are, I’d have already book my next appointment, which I’m doing now!! The best haircut of my life, hands down - so perfect for me I’m absolutely obsessed. The salon itself is intimate, sunny, airy, peaceful and delightful. Nicola made me a lovely tea and the conversation from her and Jon was the right mix of easy, funny and engaging. Jon took such care giving me a lovely treatment mask and then the cut was next level - he is a true artist and hair master
