Services
We have kids karate classes for both boys and girls as well as classes for adults. Our students are aged from 3 years young all the way to people in their 60's and even their 70's. As one of the pioneers of kyokushin karate in Australia we can offer you 'instruction' from Shihan Eddie Emin who has over 50 years experience in this dynamic martial art.
These days many kids are experiencing 'Bullying' at their school resulting in kids becomming withdrawn and loosing their self esteem and confidence. At Moorabbin Kyokushin our 'Karate Kids' classes specialize in teaching kids karate, self defense, fitness and self control. With proper instruction from caring instructers even the kids that are shy and introverted can become confident within themselves and also about life.
When you read and understand it you will see that it was written to show respect for kyokushin, it's teachings as an art and importantly respect for others within and outside the dojo. Here are the words of the Dojo Kun. We will train our hearts and bodies for a firm unshaken spirit. We will pursue the true meaning of the martial way so that in time our senses may be alert.
These are the standards of behaviour and courtesy that apply to all students within the dojo. Students should say "OSU" upon entering and leaving the dojo training area. Proper respect will always be shown to all senior belts and elders. Prior to addressing a senior belt, students should always say "OSU".
As one of only 4 people in the world with an International Grading Certificate, Shihan Eddie Emin's grading's and certificates are recognised all over the world. He personally trained under and was graded by the founder and master of Kyokushin Karate, Sosai Mas Oyama. When you train and grade under Shihan Eddie Emin your grade and your belt are accepted and recognised world wide in over 140 differnt countries.
