Every car air conditioning system has exactly two weak points - the cabin filter box and the evaporator. They are especially susceptible to dirt, bacteria and mould. Therefore, it is very important to disinfect the box and replace the cabin filter at least once a year. Additionally, the air conditioning system, especially the evaporator, should be cleaned and disinfected as well.

My Mercedes had an A service done today. I was a little unsure about changing to a different service centre but because I live in the Wynnum area I decided to give Simon a go and support local business. I am pleased that I did and any concerns that I may have had were proven to be non-existent. Thank you for a thorough job, doing just those things that we agreed on and allowing me to look at other issues down the road when it suits me better. I can recommend this business for other local European car owners.

I have just had my 2003 Touareg repaired and serviced by Simon and the guys at Autohaus Dietler. Repaired all issues that were discussed with car as well as alerted me of faults that might be upcoming in the future. Took the time to put the vehicle on the hoist to show me exactly what the pending/future faults are, how they could affect the car, what the approximate cost of repairing them, and what he did to the car during this service. I cannot recommend them highly enough. If you have a German/European car and live in the southeast bayside areas of Brisbane do yourself a favour and check them
