Drove in and asked for a basic service for my car as I wanted it to be done straight away. That was not a problem for the team. Even though the garage was full of cars, they finished servicing my care within 40 mins. He also replace a light globe for Free. Great job at very reasonable prices. Did exactly what they said they would do for the price they quoted and the car was ready on time.

Providing you call us and book your inspection early, we can always provide a same-day service for your roadworthy certificate. On rare occasions where same-day service is not available, we will have your inspection done by the next day.
Our comprehensive written and verbal pre-purchase car inspection report is $110 for any vehicle that you would like to purchase. This includes Air conditioning checks, service and repair. Also we provide clutch repairs and transmission servicing. Once we have assessed the vehicle, you will be in a better position to decide.

Took my 4wd to the checkered flag and the attention to detail they give my car every time no matter how small of a job is astonishing. Updating my review due to ongoing issue picked up and recently fixed by another mechanic;
My previous review is still very true but I feel let down by the amount of times we had taken our car in to check an abnormal vibration, we spent a fair bit of money over 5 months to find the vibrating issue and when this ongoing issue was fixed by another mechanic, would not refund us for the one faulty part.
The engine mount was replaced initially in September when the original review was given and all seemed fine for a while but soon after, the vibrations came back again. We have taken our car in to TCF

Really upset with these guys, and makes it clear why everyone is so skeptical about mechanics being dishonest.
Went to them last September with vibration issues and lack of power when accelerating, they changed the RH engine mount but the vibrations were still there and they couldnt work out what it was but assured me it wasn't any of the other mounts. They proceeded to replace things on the car that did not fix any issues I was having. I finally had enough as it felt like I was being milked for everything i have and took it elsewhere. The new mechanic changed the engine mount that chequered flag

I would not go to anyone else in Brisbane!!!
Chequered Flag are extremely professional and down to earth at the same time.
They genuinely care about their customers and what works best for them while keeping costs low and affordable.
It’s just great having someone you can trust with your car and know they will genuinely just be there to fix the problem and get you back on the road.

I do regret that I met these guys and STRONGLY recommend DO NOT TRUST to do your road worthy with them. Initially I made my booking with these guys through the Autoguru website which they offer 4 free services. Two of them were Take and drop off the car if it is less than 5 kms while mine was 4.3, I do call them and ask them to at least drop the car to my house and the some how accept it and told me that we can bring it to close to 5 mins walk to home and I do accept it but then they said that we can not do it ( really????) obviously these ruinse my a day calender. Secondly they offer to replace
