Kessner Trailers is a South Australian family owned business that has been passed down over four generations since it was established in 1951 by Eddy Kessner. Eddy's oldest son Jack Kessner took over the business before passing it on to his brother Desmond Kessner. Michael Kessner is the son of Desmond Kessner and began working at Kesser Trailers at the young age of 15 until taking over the business in 2006.
Kessner Trailers built good solid trailer to suit rugged enviroment in which our technicians service our remote area customers in and around South Australia. The professional team at Kessner Trailers were very responsive and understood our needs and fabricated a trailer to suit. This was all done at a very short notice and completed on time.
Kessner Trailers will look after all your on-road requirements by providing registration for you on the spot allowing you to drive away with you new trailer the same day. Kessner Trailers offer an inspection service. If you have purchased a secondhand trailer we can have one of our qualified staff inspect your trailer for any faults and make sure that it meets all legal requirements giving you peace of mind that your new purchase is road safe.

WARNING: Owner refuses to put any contract or communication on paper, meaning he cant be held legally responsible for anything as its only he said she said. Never hand over money unless you have a written contract. NEVER.
I was never contacted about any of the multiple delays over the 3 months and when I rang for an update I was greated with denial of any thing Mr Kessner had told me in previous contact, I was talked to agressively, spoke over and once yelled at and swore at. I felt like I was being bullied.

Both my husband an I are very pleased with the service we received in having our new trailer built by Kessner Trailer. Michael was honest about the delays that were happening as Covid was delaying shipments of components from overseas to buid the trailer. He must have a difficult time like many other companies trying to get components from overseas and even locally from Victoria due to Covid shutdowns. We are very pleased with workmanship and the handover.

Trailer was wired incorrectly from when purchased, no offer to rectify issue, was just told to switch wires at the plug! Over 2 years later we still have wiring issues with the wire being very brittle and constantly breaking, it would be really nice to actually hook up the trailer knowing indicators and everything else would be working. We now have a pay to have the trailer rewired!!
