Fion wine and small plates is Leichhardt's cosy new bar and restaurant with beautiful fitout and space, welcoming groups with private spaces available. We serve an ever-changing, ever-evolving menu of delectable, fusion cuisine in a tapas style. We like to bring all the possibilities to the table, and see what tastes best.
You see here at Fion we think life's too short to limit yourself to one cuisine, so come dine with us and taste the inspired creations of our well-travelled Head Chef. At Fion we offer a fantastic selection of local and imported wines, hand-picked for your enjoyment by our Bar Manager.

Absolutely delightful eatery with fun decore, young helpful staff, and a varied selection of spirits (I didn't try wine but I'd trust that is similarly impressive).
The steak in Japanese broth was cooked perfectly, and the prawn popcorn (like popcorn chicken) was a unique Asian-infused spicy spin on an Aussie favourite. Lovely to see the varied cultures and foods of the local community coming together in a great little eatery.

First time trying out this restaurant which I found through The Fork. I ordered Diced Beef Tenderloin Steak with Japanese Sauce, Carbonara Spaghetti and Salmon Poke Salad. The dishes were all really delicious. Customer service was also excellent, the guy looking after my table was friendly (also ran after me when I left my umbrella behind in the restaurant haha). Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

It was nearly empty when we visited. Not great vegetarian options. Pesto pasta was nice, aranchini was quite nice and a little different in a good way. Olives were delicious, but the accompanying bread quite ordinary, although probably traditional.
Staff were friendly.
Out back setting was nice, but could do with a bit of a clean up.and better presentation.
I would possibly go back if in the area.
