11.30 AM - No food, No Service.
Sat at an outdoor table for 5 minutes before anyone cleaned the table. As the manager was wiping down the table we said thank you, only to be ignored. After another 5 minutes I walked into the restaurant and stood another 5 minutes hoping someone would acknowledge us. I asked the manager if there was a menu and he simply said no. The waitress next to him told me lunch starts at 12.00 pm. Frustrated, i asked them to let me know next time to which he said, 'i thought you wanted coffee' and walked away. I live on the same street and I have been upset due to horrible

I had a really horrible experience with my partner there. My partner was speaking to a waiter and because they are both from Italy they were talking about work in Australia. The waiter was telling him that he had a construction job labouring during the day on the weekend. My partner works in construction and told him if he wanted help finding something he could help him. After that the waiter never came back and no one served us, luckily we had our mains and drinks. The owner said he wanted to speak to my partner after we ate. We were wondering what was going on. Such a disappointing experience at ReccoLab. We are new to the area and looking for new places to try for regular coffee, pizza etc. My husband and I stopped by for a takeaway coffee. We did the right thing and checked in. The barista looked at us implying to let her know our order and when we started speaking she dismissively grunted indicating she didn’t have time to take our order. After she finally was ready to acknowledge us, we ordered and took a seat while we waited. We made the mistake of pouring ourselves a glass of tap water before being lectured by the barista that we shouldn’t do

I rarely recommend any restaurant because my taste is very picky , but I have to recommend food at Reccolab , especially gnocchi with ragu. It’s 10/10 it’s melting in my mouth and I can’t stop eating . Strongly recommended for authentic Italian food !!

Love this place for breakfast! Freshly baked goodies every morning 😍 Love their menu. It’s easy to follow and everything is yumo. I had the ricotta pancakes. So filling and delicious. Not overly sweet, which is good :)

Outdoor and indoor seating available. Staff wasn’t particularly warm or welcoming. Typical Italian fare, nothing too exciting. Good range of drinks available.

An Italian modern venue with pleasant outdoor seating and appealing bakery in which freshly made panini, focaccia and pastries are made.

For starters we ordered their focaccia with formaggio, a delicious pizza-style bread filled with cheese, for mains we got the seafood risotto and the pipis spaghetti. While we couldn't get enough of the focaccia, the two mains were lacking that seafood flavour we were expecting, the spaghetti just tasted like oil and the rice just like tomatoes.

I will visit ReccoLab again because of the great service and good location but i will most likely stick to pizza

The pizzas at ReccoLab are amazing. Absolutely love this joint, the service is great and they have cosy outdoor seating that’s perfect for a lunchtime feast. The highlight for us was the Burrata pizza, which was unlike any other pizza we’ve had. It had a light and crispy focaccia base, super refreshing and tasty - highly recommended!

Food is really good , but expresso is the best what I have in Sydney . The taste is just like what I have in Roma and there few thing I want to share with you :
1: Pizza is so fresh and nice , they are making pizza just in fount of you . They could serve pizza just 7-10 mins after you order it .... which is really impressive.
2: sandwiches is tasty and fresh as well .
3: Expresso is the best in Sydney .
4: They do have disable ramp and wide foot path , it's allow baby stroller or wheelchair to go through easily.
5: Unisex toilet _ huge disable restroom.
6: NO PARENTS ROOM HERE ... it's kind

Great coffee and average pizza, consistently poor service from incredibly lazy staff. On 4 different occasions I have waited 20-40mins for a menu; I have received an incorrect order; I have arrived before the end of breakfast only for staff to 'play out the clock' until the kitchen closes on multiple occasions. I have been stuck waiting for chilli oil until my pizza was cold, only for staff to refuse to heat it

Update- tried again at 11:30 and was ignored by 4 waitstaff only to be informed the kitchen was closed. You people are unbelievable

Took my girlfriend here for a late night dinner and with 40 minutes left before they closed we were still able to have a great meal! We chose ReccoLab because they have very good gluten free options, not just GF pizza base but also GF pasta! It was delicious and would definitely recommend this restaurant. It is classy and nice, great vibe and ambiance as well! Perfect place for a nice romantic date. Great wine menu. We will be back.

The Australian food quality is so amazing compared to where I live in the San Francisco Bay Area!!

We ordered:
- sfogliatelle $4.5 - extremely flakey pastry with a ricotta cheese based feeling. Doesn't taste cheesy at all! There is a nice lemon hint!
- torta panqualine $8 - super healthy and yummy flakey pastry filled with condensed creamed spinach
- focaccia with tomato paste - simple and tastefully done. Bread based is crispy and yet soft. Perfect crunch with perfect moisture on top.

I also ordered the chai latte which is good but not as flavorful as the ones in the US. Still good!!

Lovely fresh decor. It just feels good to sit and have a coffee here. Add one of their pastries and you are set to enjoy your morning.... or afternoon tea.
The staff are various nationalities which add to an authentic feel. The menu is varied but my fav is the Tuesday night All You Can Eat Pizza for $20. With a full bar you are all set for a casual evening of good food and good laughs.
