The Yarra Valley Motel is a colonial style family run property perfectly situated at the gateway to the Yarra Valley. Ideally positioned to all major tourist attractions, this an excellent location to visit the region. Travel along the Eastern freeway to the Ringwood exit (left) and onto Maroondah Hwy travelling north away from the city, through Croydon and past Chirnside Park. Travel over the railway line into Lilydale and up the hill through the main street and shopping area over Anderson St and then do a U-turn under the walking Bridge back to the motel on your left.

We Booked at Motel up the road ( Econalodge ) and was told They Upgrading us to a better room At Yarra Valley Motel,
We Had room 2, Walked in and room 2 Had a Very Bad smell Of Smoke, We opened windows and air conditioner to air the bad smell out but it remained, ( Very Strong ) could not sleep at all throughout the night due to the bad smell, ( Very Tired The Next Day ) Smoke detector was hanging by a wire from the roof beside another Detector. It is a Shame that people that smoke have ruined this review from this Motel. Next Time Will stick with the Downgrade....

This motel gave us the worst service I've ever encountered in Australia. Our booking for a wedding prep couldn't proceed due to the lockdown in August and they gave us a credit. Once our wedding was rescheduled, we were unable to rebook the room that we needed and it was difficult for us to book a smaller room as it is for a wedding prep. The guy on the phone did not want to help us at all with refunding our money and insisted we just had to pick one of the rooms left or stay another time.

One of the best accommodations in this area. I had an amazing experience. Staff was extremely helpful and very accommodating with more than just accommodation. Room itself was very high-standard,spotless and provided anything we needed throughout our stay . The place is in a very convenient location and I highly recommend this motel to anyone visiting this area. Will definitely be back soon to visit anytime I come down to Yarra Valley.

I had a lovely stay at the Yarra Valley Motel recently, as l had a wedding to attend not far away from this location. Rather than drive back home after the wedding, my whole family decided to stsy here overnight. The room's were very nice indeed, & the bed was perfectly comfortable. The room had very thick drapes, so no light or noise filtered through over night. Which is great for me, as l am very sensitive to noise, from roads & traffic etc. The room l stayed in was a good size, with a Queen sized bed, wifi & tv if l desired, a bench with tea, coffee & biscuits & electruc kettle & microwave supplied
