At Kingsford Foot Clinic we employ the most stringent Australian standards for hygiene and sterilisation, and liaise with other health care professionals to give you the most comprehensive holistic podiatric care available. With correct treatment and care, Podiatrists can help alleviate symptoms and diagnose and treat more serious concerns.

The team at Kingsford Foot Clinic are caring, and highly trained to focus on your specific needs, and to give professional assistance with any questions you may have. A common misperception is that the treatment of in grown toe nails is painful and debilitating. In fact the treatment is performed with minimal pain, the procedure is performed in our podiatrists rooms, it takes around an hour and the patient is able to walk immediately afterwards.

The body may respond to this extra pressure by producing thickenings in the surface layer of the skin. These hard patches of skin are called calluses and are part of the body's defence system to protect the underlying tissues. If the pressure gets concentrated in a small area, a 'hard' corn may develop.
A Morton's Neuroma is a common cause of forefoot pain and can feel like small electric shocks, tingling, swelling or burning from the ball of the foot extending into the toes. A neuroma normally develops between 3rd and 4th toe (metatarsal) from increased pressure on the nerves. Treatment may involve avoiding aggravating footwear, stretching the toes, orthotics, ultrasound-guided cortisone injection or if severe surgery may be required.
Heel pain can be extremely uncomfortable and painful if not met with proper care or treatment. Heel pain may occur if you injure or overuse the heel. If left uncared for, the affected area may worsen, limiting your mobility and making it difficult to perform everyday activities. There are many different causes of heel pain, including strains or sprains, tarsal tunnel syndrome, stress fractures, Achilles tendonitis, and heel bursitis.
The midfoot is the highest point in the arch and the most common causes of pain stem from overuse, sprains or ligament tears, arthritis, tight calf muscles, being overweight or dropping something heavy onto the foot. Midfoot pain can be caused by walking, exercise and sports and the pain is typically described as achy or sharp, sometimes causing a shooting pain to the toes.
Pain in the ankle can result from inflammation or injury to any of the structures in this region, including the bones, joint space, cartilage, ligaments, tendons, or muscles. Every time you walk, your feet and ankles are taking on the weight of your entire body and running and jumping places extra force on your ankle joints.

Went to 2 other podiatrists before coming here - should've come here sooner! Felt like they actually spent the time trying to understand my problem. Thanks for the professionalism and care!
