Essential Health Plus is owned and operated by husband and wife team Paul and Kate O'Callaghan, with Paul running the physiotherapy side of the business and Kate being responsible for Speech Pathology.

After intensive X-rays my doctor issued me with a referral to a specialist for a potential invasive procedure due to the pain I was still experiencing after having tried various modalities. Had also endured a very painful cortisone injection into what was thought to be planter faciitis. Before making an appointment with the specialist I wanted to try one more time to find another way………

I have suffered from neck pain, pinched nerves and shoulders problems for many years so I came to see Paul for help and after one session, he was able to not only address these problem areas but educate me, helping me understand what’s been going on. It’s taken 7 years and many many different opinions but I am so glad to now be under the care and recovery of Paul.

After 5 years of living with chronic pain in my hip, I went to see Paul at essential health plus French's forest. After a handful of visits my outcome was amazing!!! He reprogrammed my whole body from my feet to my neck and I feel brand new again. Highly recommended! Great guy to talk too, cool music to listen too, almost instant results every time !!!

I have a rare congenital neurological disability, and as such have seen a number of different physics in my lifetime. I have found Paul and Essential Health Plus to be the best fit for me and my needs. Paul Cares about his clients and looks at the whole person, not just the specific injury/body part that sends you to the physiotherapist in the first place.

I have been seeing physios for years now for back issues and I always end up back at Essential Health Plus because the results are always the best. I have had physio’s scratching their heads about the best way to sort my problems and when I go back to EHP they always remediate my problems in the shortest time possible.
For me I travel now almost an hour to be treated at EHP as I know I will get the best results in the quickest time possible.

I can certainly recommend Paul as a fantastic physiotherapist. I had a chronic heal injury for 5 years & saw numerous physios about it. All of whom treated me for planter fasciitis which turned out not to be the ailment. Paul was the only physio who was able to work out my big toe wasn't working properly & this was putting too much pressure on my heal. I can now run, walk, play touch football & tennis with no heal pain making me enjoy life more & feel younger & heaps more mobile again. Thanks so much Paul for your great work

I'm in my 40s and after seven knee operations it was recommended I have a full knee replacement . After a stay in rehab and 8 weeks of daily rehab including Hydo I wasn't improving , in fact I felt I was regressing. After a follow up visit to the knee specialist he recommended a physio by the name of Paul at Essential Health Plus.
After the treatments the results were miraculous. I now have reduced pain, increased movement and stability. I can walk up and down stairs with ease.
I highly recommend Essential Health Plus.

I came across EHP driving to work one day and noticed their offices on Forestway - I was able to secure an appt that day. I had been living with "pain" with the expectation it would just go away in time - that was not the case. I am currently under the care of Paul O'Callaghan who has worked his magic and is continuing to do so, not only fixing the "pain" with his professional consultations but giving me long term goals to work towards my once healthy self.
