My name is Anna Baylis founder of FitGurl. I am an experienced fitness trainer, Life Coach, Olympian and mum who is passionate about guiding people to achieve their personal life, health and fitness goals. As a Personal Trainer, whether it be weight loss or general health goals I can create a training plan to suit your individual needs and to fit in with your day to day family or work commitments.
Join like minded women on their own unique life journeys to find flow, happiness, love and peace within themselves creating abundance and wholeness. The first of the find your flow retreats is all about "feeding your gut" for optimum health and vitality. Learn about the connection between the gut and brain for maximum health both physically and mentally.
All Personal Training sessions are conducted in a safe outdoor environment at Anna's home studio in Ferntree Gully. Each session is tailored to each individuals needs and goals. Anna offers a range of training services: one on one personal training, semi private personal training, group exercise and women's only exercise classes.
Each training plan is structured and specifically tailored to your individual level and goals. One on one training plans suit every rider from hobby riders out there just to finish a race or improve your fitness to performance based athletes. Training for 3 disciplines is a very complicated process, which can lead to overtraining if not overseen by a coach.

I started going to Anna about six months ago. I wanted to improve my strength and fitness.
I enjoyed it so much that I now take my 18 year old son. Not only is she kind and patient but she willingly listens to any issues I may be having at the time.

The best thing I ever did was go to Anna not only has helped me with my fitness but she has become important to me as someone who listens without judgement and genuinely cares for her customers. Despite having had help from a psychologist and trauma counsellor and completing a counselling degree, I hadn't realised how much emotional pain I was still holding onto 40+ years later. Working with Anna allowed me to go back, without needing to talk about the actual events, and to determine whether I wanted to get rid of or change the events. Changing them was so freeing as was finding ways to forgive myself and others. I feel as if I have put down all my emotional baggage, ready to run freely through the fields of life.

I have been seeing Anna at Fitgurl for a few years now and I’m thankful that I found someone who will be there to push me through the good, bad and the ugly times. Anna is my sound board, an amazing strong person when you need that push and I also classify her as a great friend. Anna makes you feel comfortable and always makes sure your ok.
My daughter who has had an injury is now seeing Anna who is working with her physio to help her be injury free.

Anna is amazing! Seriously, what trainer actually joins in and works out with you. She makes working out enjoyable. She also educates me on correct techniques, what to eat pre/post workout. In the year that I trained with Anna, she was always positive, she was always flexible and she helped me reach my fitness goals.

I have been training with Anna now for the past year and a half and my fitness has increased tremendously over this time. Not only do I enjoy exercising, but I have been able to become a better tennis player because of this. She makes a lot of my training tennis specific, and always shows a vested interest in my competitions and tournaments. I have been accomplishing greater results, especially in 2017 and I believe the majority of this is down to my personal training sessions with Anna.
