Newborn sessions are best held in the first 2 weeks. Sessions can be run after this time, however, babies tend to be less settled and things like colic and baby acne can start to increase. There are few things sweeter than a newborn baby. The first few weeks are an incredible time, one that passes all too swiftly.

I'm Mum to 3 gorgeous kids who make life a non-stop adventure! I've been photographing them since they were born which kick-started my love for newborn photography. With the help of my amazing husband and wonderful family I'm lucky enough to do something I LOVE for a living. Sessions are on location or in your family home and are conducted at a relaxed pace.
Family sessions are a great way of capturing all family members and provide a combination of both group and individual portraits. Photos will be both posed and natural. Sessions take place on location in a nearby park, bushland or in your own home and take approximately 1 - 1 hours. I believe in the importance of existing in photos, for yourselves and for your children.
It truly is amazing to see the way your body changes during pregnancy. It's an incredible experience to grow a little human, and maternity sessions are a wonderful way to capture that. Some of my most favourite 'before and after' shots are taken in Maternity and newborn session! You are welcome to have your partner and children involved in the session.
This includes the session in your own home (approx 3 hours) and a minimum of 20 images supplied on USB at high resolution for you to print for personal use. Depending on your area there may be an additional travel fee of $40 (outside of the Hornsby/Upper North Shore). This includes an on location portrait session (approx 1 - 1 hours) and a minimum of 20 images supplied on USB at high resolution for you to print for personal use.

Sarah at Hatchling Photography did an incredible job for our newborn shoot. On the day she spent several hours at home with us, and brought plenty of cute wraps and props. She was fantastic with the baby and at directing my husband to get the most beautiful shots. We received the digital photos yesterday and they are stunning! We will definitely go with Sarah again for the next bub and can't recommend her highly enough!
