Like many people, I love cafes for their welcoming atmosphere, their individual character and for the way they can punctuate our hectic lives with welcome respite, friendly conversation, or a quiet corner in which to reflect, over a beautiful cup of coffee or a delicious meal.
My aim was to create a place that offered its own, fresh and modern take on cafe culture, striking the balance between a cafe's traditional qualities and a stylish, trendy, boutique coffee shop.I wanted to create a welcoming hub with a vibrant, buzzing atmosphere where people could stop in for a coffee and a chat, meet friends old and new, or simply to unwind and relax.

Ashmore on bridge street cafe what a find!!!!
Have been to richmond many times but never eaten here. Glad we did we had lunch eggs bennie and chicken salad... was not drowned in dressing just enough both meals where fresh sourdough was beautiful staff were very busy but still friendly and pleasant well done team and the kitchen 5 stars to you great experience will be back

The beetroot tart was superb, better than I could have hoped for!! The others loved their food, too - soups, risotto, eggs, pancakes etc.
Only downside was that our group of 13 people had to wait so long for the food to arrive, despite booking the tables for the birthday party well in advance. Everyone was restless by the end.
