Calm Heart Yoga & Meditation studio is a place of peace, healing, relaxation and transformation. The director Sally MacGowan, is a registered Senior Level 3 yoga teacher with Yoga Australia and offers small group and private yoga and meditation classes in a boutique studio in Frankston South, as well as in Hampton.
In addition, she holds weekly live zoom classes you can do at home and runs monthly workshops and teacher training. General classes are suitable for beginners through to advanced practitioners. All of our yoga classes include breathing, concentration and meditation practices, as we believe these techniques are fundamental and equally important to the physical practice of yoga.

Services
Calm Heart Yoga is now offering live weekly classes via Zoom so you can practice yoga & meditation in the comfort and safety of your own home. Our physical and mental health is incredibly important right now and we would love to connect via zoom, to assist you in opening up your body, releasing tension, building energy, calming your mind and nourishing your whole being.
Using Zoom for the first time can be daunting but it is super EASY once you get started and opens up a whole new way of practicing yoga with your favourite teachers, from home. All you need is a phone, tablet or laptop, an internet connection and a space to practice. Gather any yoga props you might need (cushions, blankets, scarves and chunky books also make great props).
Life is hectic and trying to squeeze a yoga or meditation class into your busy day and rushing around can create more stress. We make it easy and bring yoga to you. Your personalised, convenient private yoga or meditation program takes place in the comfort of your home, with a weekly appointment at the perfect time for you.
Join us for a one hour collective meditation on Valentine's Day. It is an opportunity to join together and meditate as a group and as a community to send peace and loving kindness out into the world. All proceeds will go to the Mallacoota Wildlife Shelter who have been working tirelessly to help injured wildlife following the tragic bush fires that swept through Mallacoota on New Years Eve.
We are proud to announce the launch of the Peninsula Yoga & Meditation Teacher Training (PYMTT). PYMTT is a collaboration between Sally MacGowan (Calm Heart Yoga) and Lisa Carlyle (Lavana Yoga) to bring in-depth yoga and meditation teacher training to practitioners living on the Mornington Peninsula and surrounds.

Sally’s gentle nature and mindful teaching style were absolutely perfect for me as I began to build strength after a long-term back injury that had left me very vulnerable. Her vast knowledge of the beautiful yoga tradition is evident from the get-go, and there’s an authenticity to her teaching that is very hard to find in the area.
As a plant-lover, the physical setting of Calm Heart Yoga is one of the most beautifully designed yoga spaces I have ever come across. Highly recommend!

Calm Heart Yoga is a beautiful sanctuary ❤ Sally has created such a cosy, special space where you simply don't want to leave! The Deep rest retreat was absolutely wonderful, such a nurturing experience. We enjoyed a cuppa and delicious healthy treats by the fire afterwards. Sally is an amazing teacher and a very kind soul🙏

Sally created such a beautiful, nurturing and positive space for the mini retreat and helped us all individually according to our needs. There was no rushing and it was so lovely having tea and a fire to warm by first. Thanks Sally, your deep relax retreat was just what I needed to get through winter and I felt very spoiled. ♥
