Services
Keiraville Community Preschool has a team of dedicated educators and professionals who work together to provide a high-quality preschool experience for families and children. Meeting the 3 founding mothers at the preschool's 50th birthday celebrations in 2002 gave me a strong sense of responsibility for continuing their heritage.
At Keiraville Community Preschool (KCPS) we are an innovative community of learners: children, families and staff, and rated 'Exceeding' in all 7 quality areas of the National quality Standard Framework. KCPS achieved a rating of Exceeding in all 7 Quality areas of the National Quality Standard. We have a proud history of community ownership reaching back to 1952 with community links that are recognized and valued.
The KCPS vision is to be THE facilitator of innovative, family centered learning within a safe and supportive environment. We believe early childhood is a unique and valuable stage of life, important in its own right. KCPS was established by three local mothers in 1952, and has remained community owned ever since.
We offer a stimulating learning environment with a focus on each child's individual strengths, interests and unique potential. Bush preschool is an enriched learning experience in the Illawarra Escarpment where children are free to explore, collaborate, communicate and question. Our Transition to School program is internationally recognised and offers children daily contact with nature through our natural bushland setting.
Helping children and our preschool community to develop a solid foundation and a lifelong sense of wonder in our world. Positive contribution to building dispositions and skills for a smooth transition to school. Bush Preschool contributes to each of the 5 Learning Outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework of Australia.
