When patients come to our clinic for a consultation regarding their treatment options, we often require various types of clinical information to help us make the best decision. This starts with any relevant information from the referring dentist, such as the reason for the referral, the site of interest, and any dental history relevant to the area of interest.
When carrying out an implant placement, Dr Hocking and his team have a treatment process they follow which is detailed below. The patient is sedated and the implant/s placed with multiple intra-operative radiographs confirming ideal implant position. Patients are reviewed 3 to 4 months following implant placement - this includes clinical tests, soft tissue assessment, radiographs and ISQ reading.
When restoring a dental implant, Dr Hocking and his team have a treatment process they follow detailed below. Patients are reviewed 3 to 4 months following implant placement - this includes clinical tests, soft tissue assessment, radiographs. Once the implant/s have been reviewed, and integration has been confirmed, we then need to restore the implant with a crown or a bridge.
When performing dental restorative services, Dr Hocking and his team have a treatment process they follow detailed below. Patients requiring complex crown and bridge work (whether it be tooth or implant-supported) require careful consultation prior to any form of preparation. Patients then return 2 to 3 weeks later, the provisional restorations are removed, and the definitive or final restorations are cemented in place.
At Dr Hocking's Dental Surgery we not only strive to provide patients with the best dental care possible, but also to make their experience as comfortable as possible. We understand that patients have varied experiences when it comes to dental procedures and so we aim to make every procedure, from a regular examination to placing an implant, as pleasant an experience as is humanly possible.

Dr Hocking has completed my second implant and I can't speak highly enough of him and his team. He is a terrific communicator, taking the time to explain in plain language the functionality of various prosthetic options, versus the costs.
Both he and his team are welcoming and focused on giving their clients a calm pain free positive experience.
