We are the unofficial 'clubhouse' for a number of local sporting teams - a place to re-convene after matches, sell raffle tickets, celebrate victories and commiserate losses.

Palmerston Probus Club booked for our Christmas Lunch for 28 people. We were a bit concerned because the cost seemed very generous for a choice of festive mains, deserts and tea/coffee. We arrived to beautifully decorated tables with lots of space to move around. The meals were large, well presented and delicious, served promptly and efficiently and I have never seen so many empty plates. The staff were helpful and accommodating and made this a highlight of the year for our members. We would certainly encourage others to take advantage of this excellent family friendly venue.

Just left there. Staff need to be trained that Keno is priority. I walked up to the counter with a full minute + to go and the girl who was there, excused herself and walked around the corner to the food serving side. By the time she came back there was 30 seconds on the clock to put through 6 games… the last two didn’t get in. I missed out on $280..

Not all that impressed with the food or cocktail. Whilst the Steak was perfectly cooked it was also cold. The lobster was delicious but could have been freed from it's shell again cold with a beautiful butter that could not melt. My Bloody Mary was, to say the least awful. More water than Tomato Juice. Could do better Team. Paul x

We will not be back.......no menus, everything done on line. Had to go to each section of the menu to see what was on. Menu & ordering on line for food & drinks. Staff tried to accommodate us with suggestions, but if this is the new way of dining out....looks like we will be dining home. Sorry, not impressed. The chicken schnitzels were very thin and very ordinary. The children had chicken nuggets but they gave us our money back for the chicken nuggets as they were so over cooked the children couldn't eat them.

Horrible service with over priced food. called 3 times to order food for pick up and was put on hold to be trasnfered to the kitchen only to then be hung up on each time. 4th time lucky and I placed my order. i should add that it was ready in a timely manner. got home and ate it right away - I live only a few minutes around around corner so time isn't the issue. Anyway, we ordered the t bone steak meal and the Palmerston plate. the steak was so bland and half of it was all sinew. the wings were so spicy that it wasn't even edible not to mention how tough it was almost like it was fried to the bone
