Our value-for money meals are famous in the region and there's a playground to keep the kids happy.

Lunch specials haven't changed in 20 years and the only change to the main menu was a recent price hike. Not 1 new dish. Kids meals are dearer than other pubs with no free drink and soft drink plus are too small for an average 3 year old. Bought a chicken schnitzel and got two frozen pre made Coles style love heart shaped spongy things. Go to Virginia or berry springs and your chicken schnitzel is bigger than your plate and awesome! Steak was over rated big time. Time to make some changes guys!

Great customer service, friendly and efficient. Meals came out really quickly and salad and veg bar was delicious. Will be making this our go to for family dinners out for sure! Only suggestion would be to perhaps move the veggie bar so that all are along the wall in a straight line to prevent congestion but everyone was really polite and patient so it didn't really matter. Meals were lovely and a lot bigger than expected considering we ordered the rump special.

Went for dinner tonight and dining room locked. The bar area was closed for a public function. Door says dining opens at 530pm. Itβs 6pm. Staff barked rudely that dining opens at 6pm π§. Change your signs to the correct times and look after your locals!!!!! Heading to Coolalinga tavern with the rest of Howard Springs Community.

This place was a real Aussie pub, ice cold beers and good old pub favourites. Kids enjoyed the outside playground. We had to sit outside as we had kids and the dining room was closed (bar is only 18+). It was hot, the fans took the edge off the heat a bit, cold drinks did the rest. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Meals were nice and reasonably priced, missus had chicken schnitty and I had the buffalo burger. The kids had chicken nuggets and chips, no complaints from them at all. Recommended if in the area π»

A local place to stop the drive to refresh and for food on the way in/out of darwin. Big place, lots of room for kids to run around, plenty of car space, bottle shop available, friendly staff. I had the Friday roast beef ($20) sauce was sufficient, but I had double spud portions and that's a little much, don't skip your been veggies. No free Wi-Fi.
