Did 14 days quarantine in this hotel, one of the few hotels with good comments I read online. Staff observed strict regulation which was good and reassuring that safety is always priority. Check in and check out was smooth and with order, very clear instruction given throughout the process. During quarantine, other than 5x swab test by courteous staff, we also received daily call to check on our physical and mental health. If you stay alone and do need to talk to someone theres 24/7 'helpline' available. Entertainment program ie. Movies so so with limited option. What I like about this hotel was

Atrocious, horrible, disgusting. To clarify the hotel staff are good, it is the current Government staff overseeing the quarantine process that are the issue, they lack common sense and demonstrate a complete lack of understanding and compassion towards their guests. My wife and 2yo son are currently in hotel quarantine. Hot food can be ordered, provided staff are notified. When it is delivered, it won't be sent to the room if guests are coming/going. They can't tell you when guests come and go, it happens randomly so therefore, you can never really get hot food ordered. Staff member "Chris" (female

I can only join other reviewers in thanking the staff at Novotel where I also did my two week quarantine. They were very helpful and understanding in facilitating several visits for me to my father who was terminally ill. I also reiterate what other reviewers said in that the food was plentiful and healthy (loved the curries). Thanks to all.

We recently left hotel quarantine and we felt really lucky to stay at Novotel on Collins. The staff was caring and very helpful in the legally allowed limits. This contributed to make our stay more pleasant. In addition, the food was really good: healthy, freshly cooked, varied and thank god no fast food! The hotel is also committed to satisfy different dietary requirement or preferences. A big thank you to the hotel Staff!! I can only imagine the amount of organization behind the scenes to manage all the processes and safety protocols around the hotel quarantine. Good luck & courage for carrying

Charge $3000 per fortnight per person as a quarantine hotel when it’s original rate is around $130 per day, but still provides the worst service I have ever seen. Staff shows absolute no compassion to the quarantine guests.
Meals taste terrible and the portion is same as kid’s menu. One dinner was skipped and no one explains why. Fruit got missing a few times. When we called reception, we was told fruit was only given out randomly? Didn’t provide any coffee or tea in the room but expect you to order from room service with extra cost.
One staff told my husband he can always order bottle

A rocky start turned to a very good stay. Our new room was attractive, clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff were all helpful and very nice to deal with. Breakfast was great. The location within easy walking distance to many attractions. Thanks, we enjoyed it!
