Forages Caf is open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. Our breakfast menu is extensive, and our lunch menu provides a varied offering, from light meals to modern healthy fare of a more substantial nature. We offer great organic coffee and support it with our range of unique artisan and homemade goodies.

Gluten free, vegan and dairy free patrons are well catered for within our menus and our catering menu details our food options for both private and corporate functions. Our overall food focus is on; simplicity, freshness, homemade and original meals using local and quality ingredients. The Coffee was terrific , the vegetable muffin was terrific , the Turkey, cranberry & salad with avocado sandwich was terrific . The undercover outdoor area is terrific. Even my dog reckons its terrific !

My local weekday lunch go-to for an old school chicken and salad sandwich. Or similar. Quality is good, service is friendly and efficient. Seems to be a very popular lunch spot for the locals.

The place is usually packed, very popular. I like their late weekend breakfast, my favorite is fritter! Staff are friendly and nice. Their good range of fresh GF food is very impressive.

Forages is currently on a reduced menu because of COVID-19 but the zucchini and dill fritters with avocado and tomato relish were a warm and welcome start to a raining Saturday morning.

The Big brekky was excellent, not oily. The hash-brown was crunchy. The Sausages were not dry. The mushrooms were not soaked in its. wet juices that usually makes everything soggy. The Toast was thickly cut. The beacon was not extremely salty or covered in grease. Everything about a bad big breakfast didn't exist.
A winning breakfast!
The Ice coffee however, was a bit on the watery side.
Staff was very friendly. Fast service.

Beautiful coffee. Nice muffin. Reasonable parking. Reasonable menu/offerings. Friendly staff. Had to wait for my coffee, which is ok. Not ok? Having to Wait for the regulars' order to be made. who came in/ ordered after me, but they made hers before mine. I know she ordered after me, because she came in, chatted,& placed& paid for her order. So not a phone order that had come in earlier. I like being a regular as much as the next person. But it shouldn't mean you ignore other customers. Because guess how regulars start? Customers who come back...
