Our Melbourne Pilates room is specifically tailored towards rehabilitation for patients needing more thorough care - particularly chronic pain patients, athletes and those with complex back pain.

With over 25 years experience each, our principal osteopaths and owners of the two clinics are Dr Shane Heslop and Dr Rohan Armstrong. The osteopathic team is a group of independent contractor osteopaths who consult in both clinics, and care deeply about helping their patients to understand, manage and find relief from pain and discomfort.
City Osteopathy began as a vision almost 30 years ago when our two owners and principal osteopaths, Dr Shane Heslop and Dr Rohan Armstrong finished their undergraduate osteopathic degree at RMIT. Both practitioners have since developed considerable experience both here and overseas, and have been lecturers and clinical tutors at undergraduate level university.
Osteopath consultation times are 30 minutes long, whilst osteopathic New Patient consultations are usually 45 minutes. Osteopathic appointments are in high demand so, as a courtesy to your osteopath & others, please provide at least 24 hours notice if you are unable to attend your consultation. We support Hicaps and you can claim your benefit on the spot from your osteopath if you have private health insurance.
City Osteopathy is an association of independent osteopaths. We are a large group of extremely experienced Osteopaths who work in our two Melbourne City clinics. We offer same day appointments, HICAPS facilities, a 24/7 reception service and online booking in facilities. Osteopathy is an extremely effective form of manual medicine that aims to restore the body's musculoskeletal system to a state of balance.
Remedial Massage therapy provides relief from tired, tense muscles, relieves pain, helps prevent injuries, assists muscle recovery and maintenance of good soft tissue health. All in all, promotes general physical and mental wellbeing. Massage therapists at City Osteopathy are fully qualified and are registered AAMT members, and offer several specialised types of massage to meet your needs.

Over the course of my shoulder treatment, I have developed complete trust in Rohan at City Osteopathy who demonstrates a clear intuition for the workings of the body and a dedicated professional approach to the therapy. This is something I have not achieved with other physio and sports therapists over my rowing career, and this season has remained on track despite the injury thanks to him.
