I am a 3rd generation motor mechanic, with myself (David) owning and operating the workshop. Dave saved our holiday when our car broke down on the first day of our holiday from Brisbane to Mackay. He was able to squeeze us in straight away and check the car, gave us advice and we were back on the road in a short time. Can't thank him enough. Very proffessional and seems to know a lot about differwnt models and makes. Good communication.

Very happy with the work Dave did on my MK Triton. A challenging job with a lot of work involved.
Dave was a good communicator and kept me up to date on what was happening.
I found he did a good job at a reasonable price. I work in a Fleet environment with 350 vehicles and found his price to be fair and reasonable, and the hours charged appropriate to the work involved.
I like old fashioned one on one service rather than being another number at a dealership, and Dave provided this.
I would recommend Dave from Cox Automotive Maroochydore for anyone looking for a competent and skilled mechanic

Dave Cox knows an enormous amount about the mechanics of cars, the weaknesses and strengths of different variants within each model from each manufacturer. He advised me on selecting the best car for me which served me and my partner well.
To see the quality of his work just look at the quality of the cars he has restored. I've learned that his dad was a well known mechanic/racing driver who made some of Australia's fastest racing cars. Yes David is a petrol head but also a thoughtful, wise and honest person to deal with. It's a cool workshop.
