My favourite shop in Glen Huntley Road!
Whenever I need a new 'something' for my kitchen I drop into Dalgarno's. Over the years I have bought everything from pressure cookers, saucepans, roasting pans, cutlery, and little things like potato peelers, place mats and crockery. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

We found the customer service to be below par. Staff did not greet us coming in and when they did speak to us were blunt and it felt like being spoken down to.
They do however have a good selection of homewares and prices are reasonable so if friendly service isn't important to you then this is the place to go.

I had the pleasure of coming across this little gem in the heart of GlenHuntly Road; there was a great selection of homewares and gifts; Margaret and Ann were extremely pleasant and very helpful; nothing seemed to be too much effort for the lovely ladies; no pressure sales; relaxed and easy shopping! We should support our local businesses...certainly worth a visit the next time your in Elsternwick!!

No one said hello to us as we walked in. Most of the staff had sour looks upon their faces. A very rude, young girl, possibly the owner's daughter, served us and spoke to us as though we were idiots. As we left, no one said goodbye, thank you or come back again. Just as well. I might steer clear of this place. First impressions last the longest...
