Services
The program is a fun combo class incorporating jazz, hip hop, stretch, and technique. The program is designed to develop the whole child, with a focus on coordination and building confidence while learning to understand rhythm, movement, and musicality. The program consists of 30 or 40 minutes of nonstop dance and fun!
Our Enchant combo classes for 5 and 6 year olds, are a great place to start their dance journey. They will improve strength and coordination in a fun and nurturing atmosphere. Our caring and enthusiastic teachers will guide your child through our lovingly crafted curriculum, they will be nurtured every step of the way as they explore our classes, introducing them to multiple varieties of dance.
As your child progresses from the Engage program, they are ready to find their true potential. With so many styles available they can flourish as a dancer, performer and person. They have an opportunity to join our student mentor program where they can assist with the younger children, creating an amazing community where all children are cared for and they get to set example for the youngest children.
Now it's time to put it all together. Elevate your potential, forming bonds and understanding teamwork in a community of dancers inspired by each other. It's time to be prepared for life after school whether they choose a career in dance or something else, they will have important skills to take with them whatever path they choose.
Here they work on their conditioning (the thing that will help them get stronger, fitter and enable them to get through the full routine). They will work on their tumbling skills so they are able to flip around and wow the judges and the audience. They work on their stunting, where a group of athletes will lift one of the athletes into the air where that single athlete will perform gravity-defying twists and motions with fearlessness.

My daughter has been dancing here since she was 2 now 6, the teachers are amazing, they are supportive, encouraging, positive and friendly while also bringing out the best in each student. Thank you for everything you do for our children. I highly recommend WPA to anyone looking for a supportive, high quality dance school.

Great dance studio with fantastic teaching and support staff. Very family friendly and the kids love it! Wouldn't take my daughter to any other studio, her confidence and coordination have improved so much since she started at Westside Performing Arts. Highly recommended!!

So happy with Westside Performing Arts. From being really reluctant and saying dancing was too hard, Eleanor (7) is now enthusiastically going to her ballet class. We are super excited for her. I would not have believed she could move so gracefully and with such feeling. So glad we kept her going to class. A big thank you to her teachers!

My daughter has danced at Westside Performing Arts for 9 years, since she was 5.
Laura and Jenine offer a safe and inclusive environment which was more than evidenced when the outbreak of COVID quickly shut the studio to face to face classes. They quickly adapted to offer online classes which they opened up to not only students at the studio but to anyone that wanted to keep active.
The highlight so far was being able to tour with Westside to the USA on their trip that is organised every 5 years. Not only did they get to dance at Disney World and on The Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Seas, they

I just want to say a very big thankyou to the ladies and staff at Westside and especially Miss Janine and Miss Chelsea. My little girl has loved dancing for a while and after a disappointing experience before… it was a breath of fresh air wheb walking into their studio. My little miss absolutly loves coming each week, and can't speak highly enough of her wonderful teacher. I can't thank you ladies enough for the wonderful experience.
