Services
We want you to be Happy with your bike so you are Happy when you ride! We ride, we have decades of product and mechanical knowledge, and our bike servicing philosophy is to service every bike as if it were our own. Our shop is located on the corner of George and Allen Street Waterloo, and our entrance is on the Allen Street side.
Take minutes off your race time. The wheels we hire out include ENVE, HED, TWE, Zipp, and Profile; Clinchers or Tubulars; shallow rims (45mm) to discs. Our hire fee is inclusive of Happy Wheels in-store professional fitting and adjustment of brakes, brake pads, and cassettes (note some time trial bike models with complex internal braking systems may incur a labour fee).
Don't ride at your normal high pressure because you are more likely to skid and aquaplane. Remember to let some air out of your tyres when riding in the rain - this flattens the tyre a bit, provides more rubber in contact with the road, therefore giving more grip. My first time at the shop to get some new parts put on my road bike (bottom bracket, crankset, integrated handlebars). Work was done on time with great attention to detail. Even small things like making sure the shifters were installed in the same position they were in before, which other shops would miss. Price was fair for the work. Very happy to recommend the guys. Have recently taken up triathlon and bought a used bike from eBay. Very happy with it, have ridden it for a year with only minor issues. Happy Wheels came highly recommended, so I decided to get my bike serviced by them. The knowledgeable enthusiasm I was greeted with when I dropped off my bike was very reassuring and the work was done exactly as quoted and I’m now riding around on, what feels like, a brand new bike. An amazing business staffed by passionate and friendly staff, I can offer the highest recommendation possible. I certainly will not be going anywhere else for the foreseeable future

Awesome experience! It’s not often these days to find bike shops where the staff continue to help and look after you a long time after your purchase. Such is my experience with the Staff at Happy Wheels. No problem to small or large, for the attentive workshop team to keep me rolling. Its also nice to a mix of customers treated with respect and attention whether they’re with a high end road bike or a kids first bike. Everyone is special. Can’t recommend you enough.

My wheels are very happy! The staff are very friendly and are extremely knowledgeable. The owner Stu is amazing - stayed back more than 30 minutes after the posted closing time with his team to get my fit completed and have everything with my new bike sorted out and ready to go. They took the time to explain in detail any question that I could think of when upgrading my 14 year old road bike to the new beauty I purchased today. I can 100% recommend Happy Wheels and can't wait to take my Grandad's nearly 100 year old bike in for them to work on.
