I find your comment/review hard to believe clarina jay, as would any other reasonable person. Why would “the lady be angry with you for using a card to pay”? In this day and age who pays with cash anymore? Why would she care? I have paid with card at alpha alterations just today and in past, both small and large payments, and have never received anything but friendly service. I actually Just jumped onto google to review alpha alterations after the owner of the business fixed an impossible dress for me, she’s a genius and deserves only good credit for her hard work!

I came into the store to get a quote on the cost for alterations for my wedding dress. As I came into the shop, I got a less than warm welcome from the man at the counter. Then when I showed the lady my dress, it took her one glance and said 'it's going to be expensive', while she didn't even know what I wanted. I eventually was able to tell her that I wanted the sides to be taken in and the hem to be shortened. She explained that my dress was beaded and told me it would take a lot of work and before quoting me a ridiculous amount of money -$900. I have since taken my dress to other professional
