We also specialise in leather and suede jacket repairs. Our head tailor, Jacky, has had a long history in the fashion and textiles industry, over 40 years to be exact. She started off in a fashion companies in Hong Kong working with well known brands like Calvin Klein and Polo Ralph Lauren before she moved to Australia, where she continued her passion for creating clothing.

I can't speak for their quality of work, but the prices seem high. Went in for a repair, small hole in jeans, they wanted $30 to fix it. No thanks.

Helen has been doing my alterations for some 20 years; going back to when she was in Pitt St. She's very humble and friendly, does excellent work, and I've told her that her prices are too low.

Quality of work is good. turn around is slow (they usually take a week) and they always find an excuse to charge you more. I have been a few times and although they say 25 for hemming on their price list once they charged med 35 because it was a long hem (ie a long dress), once they charged me 35 because of the material, and once 35 cause it had lining. I really think ill try somewhere else next time
