This real estate company failed to release my bond after 14 days of vacating the property. To hold on to our bond worth $2700, they filed a case to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal that is extremely defamatory. They claimed that we failed to return the property in a clean state despite the fact that I hired professional cleaners to clean the property and to steam clean the carpets immediately after vacating the premise. I even had to request the cleaners to return and resolve additional cleaning tasks as required by the agent. Still not satisfied, I even agreed that they hire their

I am not impressed I have to pay a dishonour fee despite my rent being paid automatically via direct debit. I am also shocked that I was charged this fee considering I had to chase them as to why the rental has not been deducted from my account despite the direct debit being set up. When I queried why I was charged a dishonour fee despite my account having more than sufficient funds for the payment, the response I got was I had no choice but to pay the fee first and then raise a claim.

I am a salesperson myself and I have to admit I was very impressed by the well-rehearsed and polished sales pitch. I foolishly bought it and signed up with them for a 4-6 weeks auction campaign.

I’d just like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to Shelley MacGregor who assisted us greatly after we sold our home of 30 years and became first time renters. Although our security blanket was pulled from beneath us she was instrumental in setting us up in our rental property. Sadly we have had this rental sold so will have to again seek a rental premises. Philip Webb is simply the best real estate to rent through! The amount of information & guidance provided, along with the nature of the property managers I’ve had over the years has made renting with them, such a great experience. My property managers Aman & Deep deserve a special shout out for being limitlessly helpful & caring since day one! They’ve really thought about both the landlords & tenants alike.

Have been dealing with Dane and Declan from Philip Webb for the last year and a half about a couple of properties acquired from an inheritance. They have been extremely patient with our family and have advised us of all the possibilities of what we could do with the properties. They explained every thing very clearly which ever way we were thinking of going. Never too pushy and always responded to every questions we had. Very professional and polite. One of the place was rented within a week. Great work guys, thank you.
