St Thomas's Riverview Kindergarten and Preschool has been in operation since 1968 and is affiliated with The Lady Gowrie (QLD) Inc, a non-profit early childhood organisation. It operates an approved educational program for children aged between 3 to 5 years. We are situated close to the University of Queensland, nestled on the banks of the river with beautiful facilities, waterfront views and natural environment!
This wonderful kindergarten has been assessed and rated as "exceeding in standards". The friendly, expert educators, and wonderful facilities sets St Thomas Riverview above the rest. We are a community kindergarten backed by passionate voluntary parents committee and qualified experienced teaching staff that believe in the importance of quality education and the importance of the partnership between families, staff and the community.

Services
Children learn through their experiences, interactions with the environment, their peers and educators. They learn about themselves, others and the world around them. During the kindergarten year the children develop knowledge, attitudes and skills that they will build on throughout their lives. Children's experiences in the early years have an impact on children's future learning.
In her own words. I am passionate about providing high quality programs for all children and am aware of how critical it is for children to have access to high quality programs in the early years. It is so rewarding to have the opportunity to make a valuable contribution to the learning and development of young children through involvement in the provision of high quality programs.
Both groups will comprise a maximum of 22 children and the staff ratio will be 2 qualified staff to 22 children. Children enrolled at St Thomas's are primarily children who are likely to be commencing the Prep year of education in the following year, with places only being offered for younger children if enrollments allow.

I overheard an ER nurse bragging to another employee about how she “used the largest size IV needle possible” on an elderly woman, so she could “hurry up and get het out of here”. She was telling this to a Patient Access Supervisor, who laughed.
The OBGYN office here is a nightmare. The nurse was so rude to me on the phone, and acted like it was my fault I was having issues! I was in tears when I got off the phone and refused to go in for my appointment the next day. She made it perfectly clear I was a burden and that they were working me in. I needed emergency surgery it turns out too

1 star, only because the heat and lights worked. That's about the only thing that seemed to work. You would get better care from a fast food worker filling in for a friend at a CVS Minute Clinic than what my "nurse" offered me. My "nurse" seemed to care more about checking her smart watch and it's
orientation than my blood pressure cuff she couldn't ever figure out. Out at the nurses station they just openly talked about how they hate people. My actual doctor only wanted to talk about psychiatric medications I've been on so I knew my symptoms were going to be ignored, and this would be easy for

My son and I both have had to go to the ER at a satellite facility. Plus, I was admitted to the main hospital. Long story short, everyone I have encountered was very competent, professional, and caring. I have a significant amount of experience as a former Paramedic in LA County. Riverview, in my experience, ranks right up there with the finest hospitals in Los Angeles.
I read a few of the 1 star reviews, and can only say that the poor reviews are not my experience by any stretch. But, to be fair people under duress often are angry as a coping mechanism.

I was stupid, and riverview treated the result of that stupidity, but, the new management is very bad! The people who bought riverview health are idiots! They do not know what health care is! So many elite doctors left as a result of the time cinstrictions given! Its one thing to lose a rookie, but several elite medical personell is a bad sign, also, descriminates between vaccinated and unvaccinated, not acceptable.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with the maternity ward here this weekend. I came in Thursday in extreme pain having labor contractions and was seen immediately upon arrival. Because of their prompt response I was able to get an epidural before it was too late and the birth of my daughter was painless and went perfectly. Immediately after birth my daughter and I were given an hour of private and peaceful bonding time. We were then taken to a suite which was spotless and more like a hotel room than a hospital room. We were given plenty of diapers and wipes and my daughter always had clean

Have gone to this hospital for years only because the primary physician we see is associated with this hospital. After the treatment that my entire family has experienced over the last month with the emergency room, the infusion center, and icu nurse we will not only never step foot in Riverview again but we are also changing doctors ... this doctor is amazing and one of the only truly smart physicians I have encountered. We would give up a physician in order to avoid all things Riverview. Everyone that we have encountered should lose their license to practice any type of medicine. Just don't,

Do not recommend this hospital. I visited Monday and was cared by Nurse Lisa and she did not check my blood pressure after I complained of being light headed, dizzy, and weak. She falsely documented my BP as 122/77 which was false, she would not know because she did not check it. After complaining multiple times about my BP, finding out I have a virus and still leaving feeling dizzy, light headed and weak- When I called the hospital today and yesterday they treated me like I was lying about this, they said they spoke with the nurse and they have it documented so there’s nothing else they can

BILLING & HIPAA ISSUES: I had a PCP there a few years ago and stopped going when they billed my preventative care visit incorrectly. I even gave the nurse and the doctor a document explaining the limited purpose of my visit and the billing code to use. They billed incorrectly and when I pointed it out rather than making it right they sent it to collections. I decided then to never do business with them again.
Present day: I haven't interacted with Riverview in years, and I get a bill in the mail for ER services that were never rendered to me. They list procedures that were performed on someone
