You are invited for a personalised tour of the kindy (Monday, Wednesday, or Friday mornings). We are also now taking bookings for our Pre-Kindy Programme for 3-year-olds commencing in Term 2 on Mondays and Tuesdays 8:15am to 2:30pm. We offer a unique program for 3 - 5 year olds that is child centred, loving and nurturing.
We have over 40 years of experience in supporting the cognitive, physical, emotional and spiritual development of children in the year before school. And we have real grass in our large outdoor play area! We offer extended hours from 7am to 5:30pm. Centenary Christian Kindergarten was established by the Good News Lutheran Church in 1977.

Services
All teaching staff hold a current Senior First Aid Certificate; a Suitability Card (issued by the Commission for Children and Young People), and receive annual training in Fire Protection, Child Risk Management and Valuing Safe Communities. Centenary Christian Kindergarten is centrally managed by QLECS.
We seek to build strong relationships with children and their families. Children in each class attend at the same time with the same staff, building lasting friendships between children and between parents. Family members are also encouraged to participate in open classroom activities. All fees are utilised in the centre to maintain and enhance the high standard of educational program, equipment and grounds.
Children who are three and a half years old may be offered a position, as long as children of the target age group on the waiting list have been placed and vacancies exist. Term fees are determined yearly by our Provider, please contact the Kindy on 3373 4490 or via our contact form for current fees.
Our Kindy uses the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines (QKLG) as our guiding curriculum document. This aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework and identifies 5 broad learning outcome areas that support the well being and development of the child. The kindergarten adopts a holistic approach which encourages your child to develop their cognitive, social, emotional, spiritual and physical well being with an emphasis on 5 areas.
We are now taking bookings for our Pre-Kindy Program! Please contact the Kindergarten for more information. This program is run by a Bachelor Qualified teacher and will be held every Monday and Tuesday from 8:15am to 2:30pm. After Kindy Care is also available to 5:30pm. Your child can attend for one or both days.
