Services
We have been going to GWAH for 13+ years and have nothing but praise for the entire team there. They have cared for two cats (Cleopatra and Miss Pud) and two dogs (Bandit and Larry) that we have had in our family during that time. The care and service given by all the staff through good times and bad has been excellent.
Before your pet is vaccinated, one of our vets will perform a thorough health check and physical examination. Annual health checks are a very important part of your dog or cat's healthcare program. During this 15 - 20 minute appointment we will discuss any concerns you have regarding your pet's health and any other problems that we may find during the examination.
If you are not planning on breeding your dog or cat we recommend that he/ she be desexed between 5 - 6 months of age. Several health and behavioural problems can be prevented if neutering is performed at this age. Desexing requires a general anaesthetic so your pet will need to stay with us for the day but will usually be able to go home that evening.
Fleas are an all year round problem that all dogs, cats and rabbits are susceptible to. It is important to be aware that the flea problem is not only what you see on your dog or cat. Adult fleas represent only 5% of the flea population - the other 95% is found as flea eggs, pupae and larvae in the home environment.

I found them very thorough and helpful, my little boy was sick with a few things and they always called to see how he was doing, the nurses and staff were lovely.I was an ongoing mess trying to save him and… spent thousands in a short time, I was there at least twice a week and they or I called at least 3 times a week. I had to give my baby his wings in December 21, it hurt a little that no one bothered to call a week or so after he passed just to say we are sorry or hope you are going ok just one call to acknowledge the importance of his passing to me would have been thoughtful

It’s taken a couple of weeks to write this but I had to say AN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING THANK YOU 🙏 Our princess LuLu sadly lost her life in a tragic accident 3 weeks ago & instantly I knew I wanted her home with us… ( cremated ). Our usual vet had closed for the day and I knew about GWAH through friends. Without a doubt I gave them a call , absolutely a mess and could barely speak. The team at GWAH are always amazing. After a very scary episode with one of my cats, they booked him in right away. They treated him with such care, gave him lots of attention and kept us updated and well-informed throughout his treatment. Very grateful to Dr Matthew, Dr Mel & all of the nurses and staff who helped care for our boy. Very professional, and incredibly caring team. Thank you!

The team here are so friendly and helpful. One of my dogs was sick in the car on the way there and one of the VETs took the lead and washed it off for me. She could see my struggling to clean it with wet wipes.
They take great care of my boys! And offer wonderful advice.
