Services
Your pets health is dependant on regular inoculation against parasites and disease. All dogs should be vaccinated against several major diseases including Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus and Kennel Cough. Vaccination program includes initial vaccination at 6-8 weeks, booster shots at 12-14 weeks and 16-18 weeks, followed by a booster every 12 months to maintain immunity.
Our clinic provides quality boarding for Cats, Dogs, Rabbits and Guinea Pigs. All cats and dogs must be vaccinated before acceptance at Fairfield Rd Veterinary Hospital. Grooming, Dental care and Desexing can be done whilst boarding with us. We can arrange to innoculate your pet upon arrival if required.
Our Puppy Pre-School helps educate both new owners and their puppies about normal canine behaviour. We allow puppies to socialise in a safe & controlled environment and our dog trainers help solve canine issues such as housetraining, biting, jumping and chewing on furniture. Please note that all puppies are required to have had their first vaccination before attending.
The New South Wales companion animals act 1998 requires that all cats and dogs must be micro-chipped by 12 weeks of age. The chip is the size of a grain of rice and it is permanently inserted into the skin between your pet's shoulder blades. This procedure usually takes a few seconds and does not require an anaesthetic.
