I completed my Bachelor of Laws degree at James Cook University in Cairns in 2010 and my Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at Bond University on the Gold Coast in 2011. I was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in the same year. I also juggled practicing law with part-time study to obtain a Master of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology in 2018.
Dorrian Law can provide assistance with retail and commercial leases in a number of capacities. It is important to seek legal advice from an experienced commercial solicitor before entering a lease. Negotiation for the terms of the lease (including rent, transfer options, duration, exit and renewal options).
For all adults, having a legally binding Will is the most prudent way to look after your loved ones when you pass and to minimise the risk of family disputes over your assets.

A Power of Attorney is also essential to ensure that there is no ambiguity over the person or persons that are to make important life decisions (including personal/health and financial) on your behalf if you ever lose the ability to make and communicate decisions of that nature.

This means that you have been given the responsibility to manage their estate according to the terms they have outlined in their Will and to protect their assets under the various laws and rules that govern estate administration.
