Terrible experience. We rang to see if they catered for vegetarians and they said they can cater for anything, so we went. We got there and there is absolutely nothing vegetarian besides the starters of bread or side of chips, so my partner got the crab spaghetti without the crab and she actually forced it down it was that bad. It probably had ten cloves of garlic with little bits of tomato and undercooked/raw (who knows) zuchinni and they still charged the full price of $37.. besides my steak being nice, we both would've enjoyed a $20 pizza more as they clearly aren't looking to provide honest

Poor Service, and a poor dining experience.
After all the reviews, we (party of 6) thought we would dine at Rock salt. What a disappointment. After waiting 15 Minutes to order a drink, we had to ask one of the staff who was standing around doing nothing if we could order. Or designated waitress who gave us the menus disappeared. I took 45 minutes to get an entree and at least 1 hour to get the mains, and they forgot to serve 2 of the 6 meals. They came, but after I had finished eating. There was approx. 20 people in the restaurant and 4 wait staff. Not run off their collective feet!!

One of the best restaurants we've ever eaten at. Very friendly and easy going wait staff who happily agreed to serve a single degustation menu for the table and even changed items on it to suit us! Delicious fine French inspired food. Very reasonably priced for the high quality. Would go to the Gold Coast just to eat there again!

Rocksalt is without a doubt one of the best fine dining restaurants in the Country. I've eaten in fine dining restaurants all over the world, & Rocksalt is up there with the best. Great service & incredible food make for the perfect experience. I can say with 100% confidence that you will certainly not being disappointed! Enjoy! :)
