Services
Access Therapy is a small occupational therapy practice started in 2015 with a view to providing quality occupational therapy services to people with a disability throughout the Sydney and surrounding areas. We are an occupational therapy practise dedicated to providing exceptional services to people with complex physical, neurological and neuromuscular conditions.
All occupational therapy begins with a comprehensive assessment to develop a clear understanding of you, your function, and your needs. Such an assessment will need to take place either in your home or over two visits if you feel we need to attend school or workplace. Access Therapy wants to have a good grasp on what is working for you and what is not.
Access Therapy aims to provide people with the assistive technology solutions that meet their individual needs. Many of our clients have benefited from the supply of both simple and complex devices to support independence and maximise participation in their everyday lives. Assistive technology, also known as equipment or aids assist people with a disability to complete tasks they could not otherwise complete.
Access Therapy staff are experienced in complex wheelchair prescription and seating. We provide continued assistance to maximise independence, participation, and functional well-being. Wheelchair and seating are excellent partners to maintain independence or increase independent mobility when needed.
Wherever you live, your home environment affects how you perform your daily activities. It's important to create a suitable environment that enables independence and participation. Changing or modifying your home is a big step and Access Therapy would like to be there in every step of the process, guiding and supporting you along the way.
