To the Tracey Purdy and the Balwyn Events team, You guys rock!! I was so much in awe with the set up u decorated on my wedding day last March 16, 2018 at the Vines in the Yarra Valley. It looked pretty and amazing! You never failed us. Our guests love the decorations and couldnt stop admiring the flowers and centrepieces! We got exactly what we want! Thank you for making our wedding day dreamy, elegant and beautiful!

The flowers at my wedding were beautiful, however - poor communication (only improved after complaining), no receipts or proper invoices/quotes, no examples of what the plan is or what the flowers will look like... so, as aforementioned the flowers (centerpieces, bridal table, bouquets, etc) were beautiful, however, nothing like the pictures I showed or my expectations of a very rustic look, nor as full as I wanted & I was open & happy to pay whatever it'd cost, which I'd made clear.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend, not good enough for such an important & special day.

They did a great job with the church decoration but they forgot to deliver the wishing well at reception and so it was awkward when guests where asking were to put their envelopes of money. They also don't give refunds, invoices or receipts so it's hard to check if everything you ordered was actually delivered. Their receptionist is not pleasant to talk to either. The flower center pieces I ordered for the reception where no were near as full of roses/flowers as the example image I showed them. They were still beautiful but not what I wanted them to be. My bouquet also was not the same as the image

We had Balwyn Events style our wedding venue and provide bouquets and button holes. Florist/stylist never once called me back or responded to my emails after our first meeting where I paid a deposit, I had to go through reception to make sure the florist even received photos of what I wanted- never confirmed by her once. When she needed to talk to me she could call however. Like on my actual wedding day to bark at me down the phone "if you want your flowers you'll have to come and get them" as she didn't want to park and deliver the flowers to our hotel room. Reposting our review, as it appears you have decided to remove your FB Review page which contained our honest, albeit negative, feedback, along with others (which regrettably we did not read before our wedding). My wife is also still waiting for you to do the courtesy of responding to our private email to you.
Our wedding was on 17th May 2014.
We were initially impressed by the straight-forward way Balwyn Events dealt with our requests and questions. On the day, we received the flowers on time as requested and the chairs at River's Edge were set up by the time we arrived at the venue at 5pm.
