Children at Bay Terrace acknowledges the Quandamooka people who are the traditional owners of the land that we learn and play. We would like to pay our respects to the Elders past, present and emerging. From the bay to the mountains we will share the stories and traditions. We are enriched as our being, belonging and becoming are strengthened from our connections with the Quandamooka community.

Services
We acknowledge and respect our nation's first people. We believe that respect comes from understanding; an environment that reflects the cultural richness of its members is critical to develop strong understanding and connection. We endeavour to provide opportunities for all children to become successful learners for life; confident, capable and creative individuals; and active and informed citizens of the community.
Educators work in partnership with families and communities to build on knowledge and skill. We utilise a number of contemporary approaches (theories, research and practice) to support each child's learning. The EYLF describes the principles, practice and outcomes essential to support and enhance young children's learning from birth to five years of age, which also includes, transition to school.
Fees are calculated and invoiced each week, with Childcare Subsidy applied automatically (based on individual families eligibility). All fees are due two weeks in advance. Payment can be made via Electronic Funds Transfer or EFTPOS available in the service. Please contact the Service Manager if you are unable to meet the terms as outlined in your financial obligation.

This is a beautiful childcare centre with the most kind and caring educators who have been with the centre for many many years. They have a kindergarten program to prepare their children for prep and provide a family type atmosphere.
This is not a cookie cutter environment but one that celebrates and supports diversity in a big ol “home type” setting.
I highly recommend it.
