The name Lost Angel is a reference to having arrived from Bangkok. The Thai refer to their capital city as Krung Thep Maha Nakhon, which is derived from Pali and Sanskrit root words, and translates as 'City of Angels'. For us who call Melbourne home now, Lost Angel evokes an idea of a physical separation from their roots, associations and memories with Bangkok - the multicultural, economic and social hub of Thailand.
Certainly not lost, we are very clear about our intentions of bringing authentic Thai fare with fusion twists to Melbourne's diverse and vibrant food culture. Lost Angel creates an inviting ambience with contemporary architecture and interiors. Well-lit monochromatic spaces serve as a background for bursts of colour offered by the strategically-placed-to-catch-the-eye yellow furniture and red crockery.

Services
During busy lunch period, large party required longer time to finalise order and cooking. We recommended large group to pre-order their meals to minimise food waiting time. Please complete one of the following pre-orde forms, and email to us. Up on payment, we could assist with splitting bills of what menu items you or your guests ordered.
As we are not fully vegan restaurant, we are trying our best to accomodate our customers. Many of our menu items can be made without animal product, by omitting Fish Sauce/Oyster Sauce. We could customise considerable amount of our menu to suite gluten-free dietary requirement. However, upon order please again let us know that you would like the dish made gluten-free.

This is such a cute little Thai restaurant within the city. there was a bar there as well . I had the Pad Thai and it was plentiful and wonderful. We sat out in the atrium amongst the vegetation. The staff were wonderful and their was nothing negative that could be brought up for this little place. A short 5 min walk from the top of Lonsdale street near Parliament station. I would highly recommend if looking for something a little different for lunch.
