Ordered 3 times for delivery
#1 - forgot the rice
#2 - order was "on its way" then mysteriously cancelled at the last minute
#3 - lunch order was delayed about 10 times, called them at 4pm to hear some random excuse and was told they'll check & call back. No call-back and order was cancelled after 15 minutes without any explanation.

Giving this places a try as there's a coupon promotion and from google review it didn't sound bad. Took away Lamb Saag and Eggplant Masala. We were there around 6pm and waited for the food quite awhile eventhough the restaurant was empty and it's not worth the wait. The price was about average for the city eatery but It's the most plain saag curry I've ever tasted in Melbourne..

Hidden in the quaint basement setting. The ambience of the place can pick up a little but don't let that fool you.
Tandoori fish on a sizzling hot plate was a delight. Goat curry and Paneer makhni were absolutely on point. Goat curry with a finger lickin sauce and Panner makhni that just melted in your mouth.
The breads were so fresh. I have had naan breads a lot, but this was fresh and soft.
Yes it's slightly pricey, but can you put a price on good food. May be I just got CURRIED away!

Beautiful restaurant right in the heart of the city, good access via public transport or if you're driving in. Can't speak highly enough of the food at Curry Vault. We've never left unsatisfied and have basically become regulars! Excellent cuisine paired with even better service. Highly recommended.
