I just had my washing machine fixed by Greater Sydney Appliances. I've been living in Sydney for 4 years and the Greater Sydney Appliances are the best tradies I have encountered. The receptionist was polite and helpful, the tradies showed up on time, they clearly explained what the problem was and what was required to fix it.
Responsibility for all work itemised on this invoice is strictly limited to the parts and labour shown. Parts are subject to a manufacturers warranty, which varies between brands. Details can be provided upon request. Warranty excludes negligent use of or damage to parts. All other cancelled part orders will incur a 50% restocking fee.

Called GSAS and they were able to send someone within the hour because a technician was close by. My washing machine couldn't get fixed because it was well and truly dead, but I got some excellent advice about installing my spare machine and what to look for in a new one. Mark was professional and friendly.

Do not waste your time with this company. We have used them many times in the past and have always received good service! Based on that contacted them again to assess our washing machine and were left out of pocket $300+ with a wash machine NOT working. They came out and misdiagnosed the problem and then came back with a part charged at every turn and the same problem exisiting with the machine! Failed to take any responsibility for this misdiagnosis and would not refund our money. AVOID

Samantha was prompt and always responsive in arranging an appointment. Michael rang before coming and spent less than 30 mins fixing 2 faulty knobs on our gas stove and checked through the entire oven and stove to ensure no slow gas leak will still happening. Also, a few months ago GSAS fixed a leaking dishwasher and no problems ever since!

Not reliable, would not recommend for a reliable service. Could not commit to coming to fix the dishwasher. Website says open but has closed for 2 weeks over the holidays. Therefore, not responsive, not on time and not reliable We need service businesses willing to work and service appliances when needed, not when it suits them. Not ideal to ask to wait weeks.

Completely unprofessional. Failed to communicate after taking money from the first visit (at which no service was actually provided). Was told "will let you know" when the part was available. Had to chase up the following week and again was given a "about 1 or 2 weeks" estimate.
Would be nice if a service, who is taking people's hard earned money, would show some understanding that a washing machine is quite an important household item!
Then when given some honest feedback, closed the (exorbitant) quote!

Their technician Sam was very helpful and we appreciated that he let us know that the machine would be very expensive to fix without us having to spend too much money to find that out! He arranged a quote for a replacement machine the same day and gave us advice on models to consider.
Very impressed with the level of customer service we received and I will be using them for all our white good needs from now on.

My experience was Positive from start to finish. Pleasant staff. Clear and efficient business practices. Reasonably priced call out fee explained up frontt. The only delays were not theirs but the fault of the supplying company. The team at GSAS kept us informed and tracked the part. Special mention to Mark and Jennifer.
