BIG4 Tweed Billabong Holiday Park
BIG4 Tweed Billabong is an award winning holiday park located on the Far North Coast of New South Wales (southern Gold Coast). Tweed Billabong has built a reputation for having some of the very best facilities of any holiday park in the country.

From the magnificent new waterpark, to the first class camp kitchen & unique tidal Billabong, this is a holiday destination that continues to lead the way when it comes to providing guests with an unforgettable holiday experience. There are 4 cabin types to choose from, sleeping up to 6 people as well as a four bedroom house that sleeps up to 8.
Services
These cabins feature 2 separate bedrooms, combined living, dining and kitchen and a spa in the bathroom. The screen enclosed balcony has a table and chairs and views over the Billabong. These cabins have 2 bedrooms and are situated close to the pool with a large sunny balcony. The main bedroom has a queen bed.
Our ensuite sites are large powered sites with private bathroom facilities including a shower, toilet and vanity. These sites are ideal if you're looking for a mix between comfort and adventure. They're also great for locking away items like golf clubs and fishing rods. Perfect for families wishing to avoid numerous midnight toilet runs (and pregnant women!).
BIG4 Tweed Billabong Holiday Park has raised the bar when it comes to water parks. We are proud to bring you what we believe is Australia's premier holiday park water playground. This incredible new feature steps beyond just providing a source of endless entertainment. It's wonderful design takes you on a journey around the magnificent landscapes of the surrounding area.
Book four nights between Sunday & Thursday and stay for just one dollar on Wednesdays, PLUS win a prize on arrival valued at over $30. Prize examples include a voucher for Brunch on Billabong valued at $30, Kids Activity Cards valued at $30 each, 4pm late check out valued at $60 for a cabin. Cancellations within 14 days of arrival will receive a credit note or refund if the site is resold.
While the location of our park is fantastic in terms of being close to some great beaches, shopping and eating, it also means we're close to the airport and the M1. But you can read below what some guests have stated on Tripadvisor about this noise and how it affected their holiday. The positives far outweighs the negatives when you come and stay here at BIG4 Tweed Billabong.

Stayed for 7 nights during school holidays on a camp site. Had a fantastic stay and only left the park once to visit Fingal Head. (And Dan Murphy's) The camp kitchen is awesome, the pools are heated and has a slide, the water park (magic mountain) according to my kids is great and the Saltwater Lagoon is hours of fun.
Only downside are planes that fly only a couple hundred feet overhead when landing and the M1 that is next to the park behind a tall barrier.

Great camping for families. Very clean facilities. Bring some inflatable rings etc for the billabong. Staff are nice and not overbearing on things like bike helmets etc.

We had a great two night stay. The Matilda cabin was clean and well appointed. They were extremely accommodating when we were not going to make it there before closing time, leaving our welcome pack in a lock box to collect when we arrived. We were there prominently for a wedding, however will have to come back in the warmer months and spend a full weekend exploring the parks facilities. The park in well laid out and perfect for kids to ride their scooters around. Staff were more than willing to help us and no one went by without a friendly wave. We will definitely be back!

Excellent facilities in a central location. Spoilt only by the 24 hour highway noise and being in the flight path for Coolangatta airport. Although staff informed us over the phone that there was no issue with noise - there clearly is. If you don't like road traffic noise, consider staying elsewhere. However, the facilities are excellent, and the park is very clean.

Don't stay here if you can't handle road noise 24/7 + being under a flight path. Otherwise a very pleasant place to stay. Loved the convenience of an ensuite camp site.

We stayed here for our second time and were just as happy as the first time. We will be back!
Great pool area and water slide, lovely cabins and good coffee from the mini-cafe.
The stand out for us is the service. The ladies who run the front desk are so lovely and welcoming. The gentleman who maintains the grounds is also wonderful and probably the hardest working person I’ve ever seen!
We had the greatest time - thanks!

We stayed here for 5 days in April school holidays.
Great for the kids. Heaps of stuff to do. Never have to leave the park.
Camp kitchen is modern and clean.
Toilets and showers are really modern, and clean. Although it would have been good if they had a mop in there to do a quick clean after other guests.
Sites are packed in together, so don’t expect privacy.

I went to look at some houses for sale in this park. My initial impression was that the park is very modern with excellent facilities for holiday makers. And, yet it has a very peaceful atmosphere where you appear to be out in the bush surrounded by wildlife.
The residential area is in one corner of the park and the properties I looked at were excellent. I would have no hesitation in living here and may do so in the near future!
There is an imposing gate at the front which is the only way in to the park, making it very secure for residents and holiday makers alike.

Is a great place to stay, kids really enjoyed it. Great pool, slides and fun things for kids to do.Awesome camp kitchen. Staff were really friendly.
Only issue I have is that they allow smoking on the sites and we were beside a lady who was a heavy smoker which drifted into our site the whole stay.
Maybe an allocated area would be a better option like most other parks now have.
Will come back when they do this as can't spend an other week putting up with it.
Otherwise really enjoyed staying here.
