You won't get this beauty anywhere else! 2015 Wightwick Nebbiolo, sourced from our good mate Simo who's left the path of winemaking to pursue his love of design and furniture making. And so it was, . Our collaboration kicks - images Fausto drew for our Spanish Wines, plastered all over sneakers provided by Etiko. If you don't know Fausto, he's a local Melbourne legend. Where we're going, we don't need roads. A tribute to this year - one we all should have a drink to or perhaps one we wish we could go back in time and start again.

Allegedly the only two (literate) students to Graduate Healesville High School 1997, we were always destined to work together. Behn (the Payten) drove his first Tractor at the age of 5. Troy (the Jones) was talking by the age of 1 and hasn't shut up since. Naturally we fell in with the wrong crowd out here, and became heavily involved in the wine industry.

The greater region of Tarragona encircles the tiny region of Priorat - where our collaboration winery is located in a village named Gratallops - literally 'the place where Wolves Sharpen their Claws'. And my, what nice grapes it has. La Caputxeta wines are unfiltered, unfined, wild fermented craziness, with no added sulphites.

When Behn and Troy discovered Fot-Li, they were actually looking for inspiration to make their own vermouth. However, upon tasting this traditionally made fortified in Reus, south of Barcelona, they knew they'd much rather be part of bringing the best of the best to Australian glasses than attempt to make anything nearly as good.

You've got to visit!
Vibrant staff, yummy and quite unusual wines, funky artworks and feel to the place, and I've got to say, the young guy who served us described the wines so accurately, like nothing we've experienced before. If he said strawberries and cream, strawberries and cream it was! Don't know that we caught his name, but his Oma lives in Cockatoo, so the boss will know who to pat on the back reading this. He was awesome.

Best winery we went to these holidays in the yarra valley. The service was excellent - a Jamaican man (apologies for not remembering his name) explained the processes of each wine so thoroughly and with such enthusiasm. Just a really wholesome down to earth place with delicious wines. Highly recommend this place.

If you like the small family run wineries Payten & Jones is one of the good ones in the area. I love the artistry of the labels. Try their Pinot Noir, the Syrah and Chardonnay. You can grab a plate of food and enjoy this wine space in Healesville while taking time to work your way through a few glasses.

Really enjoyed our wine tasting here. It does not feel like a traditional winery when you enter, more modern and chic. The courtyard area is very nice, especially for big groups. Staff here are enthusiastic, passionate and knowledgeable. Everyone in our group walked away with a purchase at the end! On weekends they have a seafood stall at the front door by a famous guy called Banjo, selling oysters, prawns and lobster rolls. It is located right opposite the famous Four Pillars distillery so it's definitely convenient to visit two venues together if possible.

Fantastic spot. Very conveniently located. I think they're doing interesting and creative things with their wines – most of which I absolutely loved. Friendly staff, and half the venue is dedicated to tastings, which is actually really nice. You don't feel like you're imposing for wanting to try their wines!

Very well setup wine tasting venue in the region of Healesville. Great service and wine recommendations. The brand name and the graffiti artwork on the building are very eyes catching. Once you walk in the building , you have a feeling of walking into one of the stylish boutique shop in Harajuku Japan. Will definitely recommend to others.
